This is a great computer. If you're a fan of the Mac, then you will like. If you are in multimedia, you'll love it. It works seamlessly with iTunes and the latest electronic devices such as iPods and cameras.

My problem with what can only be a good thing for sure is that is too large. If you are not multimedia or watching movies, in my opinion, it could equally well for the small screen. This can easily overwhelm a table, and if on, is very bright, so that stress can be your eyes.

Sold exclusively at Best Buy, the HP Elite a pre-configured desktop PC with a respectable set of midrange components - $ 939 nets you a 2.4 GHz quad-core processor, 8 GB DDR2 memory, 750 GB storage and a competitive Nvidia GeForce graphics card with plenty of opportunity for expansion into the interior. Unfortunately, the HP does not hold out against two other systems that we tested recently. Gateway compiles a similar set of components and adds a faster graphics cardits LX 6810-01, and the Dell XPS 430-121B is significantly faster for multitasking and streaming media fans. As these two computers are actually less expensive, the HP Elite has its prices or more features to add, before they can confidently Shares may be a sale rack with Dell and Gateway. Physically speaking, the HP M9500 is smaller than the Dell XPS 430-121B, its footprint measures 15.5 cm high, 7 inches wide and 16.6 inches deep, and it looks very similar to manyother systems in the Elite line. For example, DVD, the HP Elite m9402f shares of the same awkward design with a card reader above, a dual-layer, followed them, an empty drive bay and two bays on the underside that HP leaves open for its proprietary removable hard drives . The lower left door opens to reveal a FireWire port, two USB 2.0 connectors, and the standard headphone and microphone. The chassis design help is not very memorable, and we may not want, butFront of the Gateway to Be SATA hard drive bays and additional audio / video ports on the front panel. The reverse is just as boring - apart from the usual audio, video and storage ports, you also get an HDMI port on the Nvidia graphics card and a coaxial S / PDIF output. We are surprised to see that HP is not an external eSATA connector, so if you need to get your external hard drive via USB 2.0 or Firewire connection for additional storage.

The computer works fine. I was skeptical to buy it because my laptop was not even a year, but I'm glad I made the change. It 'very fast - almost instantly about. Function TouchSmart is not so practical. The 22-inch screen is more pleasant than several meters away. Unable to reach the screen, so I optimized for the mouse. I look at the TouchSmart software and found interesting enough. The big screen is very convenient for my needs, though. I have a lot of table space in front of me, instead of filling with a computer.

HP is first through the gate into our back-to-school desktop raid in 2009. And while there is certainly nothing clearly wrong with this replacement-$ 509 midtower, we can not fail to notice that HP has not done much of this PC apart from the competition. In addition to a quad-core slender tower of the gateway or Asus' new Wi-Fi and HDMI-enabled midtower, this is only one FireWire port, navigate HP's easy-to-site, and a slightly tweaked chassis help design, stand out that deserveit only a lukewarm recommendation. The most interesting part of the could in their new design. There is nothing drastically different about it, but HP has moved the optical drive eject buttons on the side of the front panel, trim, and has also gone to an almost exclusively black color on the palette around the case. The resulting elegant appearance, this system gives more shelf presence, and you can see the a polished-looking midtower pc. If aestheticsFactor to take into your purchasing decision, in fact, HP could convince you with good design, these PC's. A deeper insight into the details of the as in the competition and your impression compared may be changing. It's not that HP has made no major missteps with this configuration, it is simply that it lacks inspiration. You will find in our comparison of the field note that provides the Asus Essentio desktop almost exactly the same hardware for $ 10 less than the HP. This price difference is likelyeach retailer, but what is probably more effective are the graphics chips and associated motherboard in any system. The HP motherboard, only the most important inputs and outputs, and its single FireWire 400 port is the only deviation from the norm. The Asus Essentio, on the other side has no Firewire, but also an HDMI video output, as well as 802.11 b / g wireless network via an add-in card. These two functions may not have the most value in view of theEssentio's midtower form factor, but the simple fact that they are present, the Asus system of some distinction. Depending on your needs, you connect peripheral may be the HP FireWire port, you will find enough to rule decision. For our money, we think the Asus system offers other exciting extras.
